This document contains the privacy policy and agreement you accept by using any mentioned Discord bot ("Bot(s)"), any website we might run (the "Site(s)"), and any other related service (collectively, the “Service(s)”). The service is run by TheSharks (“we” or “us”) for users of the Service ("you").

We reserve the right to update this document at any time without any prior notification to you, and you agree to be bound by such modifications should you continue using our services after such modications.

This agreement can be terminated at any time, but will be in effect while you use any of the services.

Collected data

Collected on command execution

We store certain data pertaining to the execution of a command, these are stored automatically when provided you. When providing data in this manner, you forego any rights to the content of the data provided.

  • Server configurations (permissions, settings)
  • Arbitrary text (tags)

In addition to this data, we also collect diagnostic data about the environment the command is ran in:

  • Channel information (topic, ID)
  • Server/Guild information (name, ID, member count)
  • User information (username, ID, discriminator, avatar hash)
  • Fulltext of trigger message

Collected on runtime errors

We store diagnostic data should you generate errors inside any of our Services. This data is subject to the privacy policy of Sentry in addition to this document.

When errors occur, we transmit the following data to Sentry:

  • User information (Username, discriminator, ID)
  • Message information (Command ran, full text)
  • Guild information (ID, name)

Saved via authorization

It's possible to authorize us to collect more information about you, should you give us permission for this via OAuth.
When given permission, we can collect the following data:

  • Full account metadata (avatar, username, discriminator, ID)
  • E-mail addresses
  • List of servers/guilds the account is connected to
  • Discord account connections (such as BattleNet, YouTube, Twitter)

Data storage

All data is kept on protected infrastructure. While storage methods might vary from service to service, most data will be kept in a protected ArangoDB instance. Please keep in mind that even with these security measures, no data can ever be 100% secure. While we strive to keep this as secure as possible, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Data retention

Integral service data (permissions, server settings) is retained indefinitely, unless a deletion request got submitted.
Analytical data is retained for one (1) year, or until a deletion request got submitted.
Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.

Usage of your data

All data collected is only used to ensure proper operation of the service, and to help us improve any of the services offered.
No third party has access to any of our data.

Removal of your data

Your data is removed when we detect your Discord account has been deleted, or when you request deletion of your data yourself.
If you'd like your data to be removed, please email us.
Keep in mind that not all data will be deleted, but will be anonymized instead.
Data collection will resume when you begin using any of the Services again.

Requesting a copy of your data

You can request a copy of all data we have on you at no cost, please email us if you'd like a copy of your account's data.
Please allow up to 30 days for this process to be completed.


If you're located in the European Union, your data is subject to the GDPR.
In context of GDPR, we're both a data controller and a processor.
Please keep in mind, there's no reasonable way for us to know if a User is European or not based purely on data we have via the Bots.


We appreciate hearing from our users and welcome your comments regarding the Service. Please be advised, however, that if you send to us any comments, suggestions or recommendations regarding the Service (“Feedback“ ) you hereby assign to us all rights, title and interest in and to the Feedback. Accordingly, your Feedback will not be subject to any obligation of confidentiality and we will not be liable to you for any use or disclosure of any Feedback. Also, we will be entitled to unrestricted use of the Feedback for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to you or any other person.


By adding or using any of the services outlined above, you are giving us your explicit consent to the policies outlined in this document. In addition, you are agreeing to inform the members of your server/guild about the contents of this document, and the Discord Developer Terms of Service.
This policy is in effect as long as your account is visible to any of our services. This could mean that guilds/servers your account is connected to has any of the services active. If you wish to terminate the agreement, stop utilizing all of our services, and revoke authorization on the 'Authorized Apps' menu in the account settings of your account.
